Buda v0.9.0 Release Notes

Single-Agent default layout, smarter dashboard navigation, Marketplace pricing & filters, AI-friendly docs, and reliable multi-channel messaging.

Released: April 20, 2026

Buda v0.9.0 brings a major UX shift with the new single-agent default layout, smarter navigation, expanded Marketplace controls, and significantly more reliable channel messaging across all platforms.

✨ New Features

  • Single-Agent Layout Default — Your workspace now opens directly into a focused single-agent view, letting you dive straight into work without distraction. The Company Layout remains available for teams managing multiple agents.
  • Smarter Dashboard Navigation — Opening the dashboard now takes you directly to your last active agent or workspace based on your preference. Deep links to specific agents and spaces always work regardless of your layout choice.
  • Marketplace Pricing — Skill and agent listings can now display pricing. During our launch period, paid items are marked as "Limited-Time Free" so you can try everything at no cost.
  • Marketplace Filters & Sort — Browse the Marketplace by category with new filter (All / Verified), source (Official / Community), and sort (Popularity / Recently Updated) controls for faster discovery.
  • AI-Friendly Documentation — Our docs are now fully accessible to AI assistants. Tools like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT can read Buda documentation directly, and every docs page has a "Copy Markdown" button for easy sharing with AI.
  • Buda AI Course — Lessons 02 & 03 — New course content: "Role Definition — Who Is Your Lobster?" (Lesson 02) and "Memory Management & Persona Splitting" (Lesson 03), with full presentation slides.
  • Event Transcripts — Complete transcripts from the 2h39m OpenClaw launch event, organized by speaker with timestamps and navigation.
  • Announcement Modal — Dashboard now displays a beautiful announcement modal for important updates, with proper internationalization support.
  • Agent Chat Enhancements — Chat messages now display user avatars and timestamps for better context tracking.

🔧 Improvements

  • Marketplace Always Accessible — The Marketplace entry point is now always visible in the sidebar footer, regardless of your plan or layout mode.
  • Cloud Drive Scroll — The toolbar stays pinned at the top while files scroll naturally beneath it, matching the feel of Google Drive and Dropbox.
  • Cloud Drive File Storage Fix — Fixed an issue where files uploaded in local development mode could end up in the wrong directory.
  • WeCom Message Formatting — Messages sent to WeCom bots now correctly preserve line breaks, headings, code blocks, and lists.
  • Appearance Settings — Theme and layout preferences now have their own dedicated settings tab with clearer visual previews of each layout mode.
  • Spaces & Agents Consistency — Opening an agent from a Space now shows the exact same workspace experience as opening it directly.
  • Internationalization — Completed a comprehensive pass to ensure all UI text is properly translated across English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.
  • Docs Reorganization — Cleaned up redundant headings and improved marketplace attribution logic in documentation.

🛡️ Reliability & Security

  • Reliable Channel Messaging — Pausing or removing a channel (WeChat, WeCom, Discord, Telegram, Slack) now immediately stops message processing across all server instances. No more "ghost" channels that keep responding after deletion.
  • Enhanced Audit Logs — System logs now support fuzzy search, capture browser information for marketplace operations, and provide quick links to related users and workspaces.
  • Skill Import Fix — Fixed an issue where multi-line skill descriptions could be lost during marketplace sync.
