Claude Opus 5 Is Now Available on Buda

Claude Opus 5 is now available in Buda.

It is Buda's latest subscription-only Opus route for deep reasoning, difficult reviews, and agent work where a weak decision is expensive.

What's new

Buda now includes Claude Opus 5 in the model selector as an active chat model.

Inside Buda, Opus 5 is positioned for deep reasoning. It is not meant to replace every faster model in a workflow. It is the model to bring in when an agent needs to reconcile more constraints, review consequential work, or make a careful recommendation before a person decides what ships.

This release adds the model to Buda's cloud route and model catalog. It does not rely on unverified benchmark claims. The practical change is straightforward: subscribed teams can now select Claude Opus 5 for demanding agent tasks.

Subscription access and credits

Claude Opus 5 is available to spaces with an active Buda subscription. It uses the same 1.7x credit multiplier as Claude Opus 4.8.

Where Claude Opus 5 fits

Use Opus 5 when the quality of the next judgment matters more than getting the fastest possible answer.

  • Review a large pull request before a human approves it.
  • Diagnose a problem spanning logs, code, infrastructure, and product behavior.
  • Plan a migration with dependencies, rollback requirements, and operational risk.
  • Reconcile conflicting research or requirements into one defensible recommendation.
  • Run the final reasoning pass on customer-facing or business-critical work.

The strongest pattern is selective routing. Let faster models handle repeated execution, then route the difficult review to Opus 5 and keep final approval with a person.

Task routing for Claude Opus 5: fast execution, deep review, and human approval

Use Claude Opus 5 in Buda

  1. Open your Buda dashboard and enter an Agent workspace.
  2. Open the model selector in the chat input.
  3. Choose Claude Opus 5. The option is available on subscribed spaces.
  4. Give the Agent the relevant files, constraints, and decision criteria.
  5. Review the result before approving any consequential action.

Buda keeps the surrounding work visible through the Agent workspace: chat history, Drive files, Browser activity, Terminal output, and tool calls. That context helps people review not only the answer, but also how the Agent reached it. Learn more in the Agent Workspace guide.

Better routing, clearer responsibility

A model selector is part of workflow design, not a leaderboard.

Use fast models for throughput. Use balanced models for daily work. Use Claude Opus 5 when the next decision deserves a deeper pass. The Agent executes and assembles the evidence; the person remains responsible for direction, review, and approval.

Open Buda and select Claude Opus 5 for your next high-stakes review.
