Buda v1.19.0 Release Notes
Invite teammates with shareable links, use Connector with a more complete local workspace, and move through Agent sessions more reliably.
Released: July 21, 2026
✨ New Features
- Invite teammates with a shareable link: Create a reusable Space invitation, choose the member role, and decide whether new join requests need approval. Owners and admins can review pending requests from the Members page, while applicants receive updates when their request is approved or declined.
- Use a more complete local workspace with Buda Connector: Connector-backed Agents can work through an interactive terminal, preview local apps, and turn links to files on the connected computer into Drive previews instead of dead browser pages.
- Grant every Space member access to an Agent in one step: In a restricted Space, you can now grant all current members access to an Agent at once. The permission dialog also explains who can actually access the Agent before you make a change.
🔧 Experience Improvements
- Return to the right conversation when switching Agents: Single-Agent and Company layouts now follow the same navigation rules, restore the latest valid session, and avoid flashing an empty new-chat page during a switch.
- Reach older conversations from the sidebar: Session lists now load more history as you scroll instead of stopping after the first 50 conversations.
- Install and manage several Connectors with clearer status: New installations track the device being added instead of reacting to another online Connector. One computer can also maintain isolated Connector profiles for multiple Spaces.
- Know which Space needs attention from quota emails: Usage-limit emails now name the affected Space and link directly to its billing settings.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Connector availability now follows the live Relay connection: Agent status updates automatically, offline chats stop immediately with a Reconnect action, and brief recoverable network interruptions no longer flash a false failure.
- Connector Terminal and Browser failures recover more clearly: Unavailable terminal support now shows an actionable message, stale browser sessions are recreated when needed, and local app previews can discover listening ports correctly.
- Interrupted work no longer looks active forever: Tool spinners and elapsed-time counters stop when the owning Agent response has already ended with an error.
- Older conversations replay more reliably: Buda repairs legacy message shapes and skips incomplete attachment placeholders before sending history back to the model, while keeping the original files visible in the conversation.
- Connector actions stay in the Space you are viewing: Connector lists and management actions now use the page's explicit Space, preventing two browser tabs in different Spaces from showing or changing the wrong device.
- Web Chat Drive read-only mode now restricts the Agent, not visitor input: Visitors can ask questions normally, and the Agent can read Drive content to answer, but it cannot modify files, run terminal commands, or perform external write operations.
