Claude Sonnet 5 Is Now Available on Buda

Claude Sonnet 5 is now available in Buda.

It is a premium model for teams that want stronger reasoning without jumping all the way to the highest subscription-only tier.

What's New

Buda now includes Claude Sonnet 5 in the model selector.

Sonnet 5 is built for the middle of real agent work: planning, coding, debugging, document review, research synthesis, and deciding the next step in a workflow. It is stronger than the default Sonnet baseline, but still practical enough to use throughout a working session.

That makes it a good premium default for paid teams that want better judgment on everyday work.

Premium Access

Claude Sonnet 5 is a premium model on Buda.

Free spaces can keep using the broad free model set, including Claude Sonnet 4.6, Gemini, GPT mini models, DeepSeek, and fast execution models. Sonnet 5 is available to paid plans because its cost profile and reasoning quality sit above the free baseline.

Use Sonnet 4.6 for regular work. Use Sonnet 5 when the agent needs more careful reasoning. Use Fable 5 only when the next decision is expensive to get wrong.

Where Sonnet 5 Fits

Sonnet 5 is useful when an agent needs a better reasoning pass but the workflow still needs to move quickly.

  • Review a pull request before it reaches a human reviewer.
  • Debug an issue that spans logs, code, and product behavior.
  • Plan a multi-step task with file edits and follow-up checks.
  • Turn research notes into a clear execution plan.
  • Improve customer-facing copy before final approval.
  • Help route a task between faster execution models and deeper review models.

The pattern is simple: use cheaper models for repeatable execution, use Sonnet 5 for the premium reasoning layer, and keep humans in control of final judgment.

Better Routing, Better Workflows

A model selector is not a trophy case. It is part of workflow design.

Buda now gives teams one more premium step between everyday free models and the highest subscription-only reasoning tier. That makes routing easier: fast models for throughput, Sonnet 5 for stronger daily judgment, and Fable for the most sensitive calls.
