Buda v1.22.0 Release Notes
Give AI clearer instructions with supporting materials, revise generated images without starting over, and keep everyday work running reliably.
Released: August 6, 2026
✨ New Features
- Insert materials and work tools directly into the chat box: While writing a message, you can insert images, files, folders, past conversations, Skills, and integrations between your words. They appear inside the chat box as named chips or image thumbnails, so you can see exactly where each reference sits before sending. Buda keeps that arrangement in the conversation, helping the AI understand which instruction refers to which item.
- Revise an AI-generated image without starting over: Choose Edit Image on an image Buda created, then describe what should change, such as the wording, color, layout, or background. The original image is prepared automatically, with no need to download, find, and upload it again.
🔧 Experience Improvements
- Choosing an AI model takes less guesswork: The default option now uses GPT-5.6 Luna, Claude Sonnet 5 is the recommended reference choice, and outdated options have been removed. The list is shorter, so most people can simply keep Auto selected and get on with their work.
- See a more trustworthy picture of work in progress: The timer no longer restarts when you leave a conversation and return later, and waiting time for the next queued request is no longer added to the previous answer. Conversation status also updates promptly when work starts or finishes.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Switch workspaces without seeing information from the previous one: After moving to another Space, settings, team members, installed Skills, subscription information, and AI conversations now stay aligned with the Space on screen, on both web and desktop.
- File uploads recover instead of staying at 0%: When a company network or browser blocks the normal upload route, Buda now tries another secure route automatically. The attachment menu also closes normally once the upload succeeds.
- A Skill selected before the first message now takes effect: When starting a new conversation with a chosen Skill, Buda keeps that choice in the first request. This is useful when you want the AI employee to begin with a specific working method from the outset.
- New conversations no longer disappear from the list: Fixed several cases where a conversation had been created and was still usable, but did not appear in the sidebar or continued to be labelled “New conversation.”
- Scheduled work and WeCom replies are more dependable: Tasks created by an AI employee now receive their next run time correctly. A temporary AI error no longer moves a WeCom user into a different conversation, and replies continue to arrive reliably when Buda is running across multiple servers.
