Agent Transfer
Move an Agent from one Space to another. Requires a paid plan and owner or admin permissions on both Spaces.
Agent Transfer lets you move an Agent from one Space to another — permanently. This is useful when reorganizing teams, consolidating workspaces, or handing off an Agent to a different department.

How to transfer an Agent
Step 1 — Open the transfer dialog
Right-click an Agent in the sidebar (or click the ⋯ menu), then select Transfer Agent.
If you don't see this option, you are not an Owner or Admin of the current Space. Ask your Space owner to promote you in Settings → People.
Step 2 — Select the target Space
You'll see a list of Spaces where you are an Owner or Admin. Free Spaces are shown but disabled — they cannot receive transfers.
Select the target Space and click Next.
Step 3 — Confirm the transfer
This step requires you to check two confirmation boxes:
- ☐ I understand this transfer is permanent — the Agent will leave the current Space immediately and cannot be undone.
- ☐ I understand billing will change — seat counts on both Spaces will be updated, which may affect subscription costs.
Once both boxes are checked, click Transfer Agent to confirm.
After the transfer
- The Agent disappears from the source Space sidebar immediately.
- The Agent appears in the target Space with all its data intact (sessions, files, skills, settings).
- Subscription seat counts are updated on both Spaces automatically.

If you need to grant someone transfer permissions:
- Go to Settings → People in the Space
- Find the member in the list
- Click the
⋯menu next to their name - Select Promote to Admin
Admins can transfer Agents in and out of any Space where they hold the Admin or Owner role.
FAQ
Can I transfer an Agent back? Yes, but it's a new transfer. You need Owner/Admin permissions on both Spaces again.
What happens to the Agent's sandbox? The sandbox and its volumes are transferred along with the Agent. The sandbox will be associated with the target Space's billing.
Does the Agent keep its chat history? Yes, all Agent sessions and messages are preserved.
What if the target Space is full? The transfer will fail with an error. Upgrade the target Space plan or remove unused Agents first.
