Buda v1.11.0 Release Notes
This update makes Agent sessions, file previews, workspace panels, and checkout flows more stable, with clearer model choices and payment options.
Released: June 12, 2026
✨ New Features
- Choose the working folder for a new Agent session: When you create a session, you can pick the folder the Agent should work from.
- See session details in one popover: In Agent Chat, a new "Session info" button opens a panel with the current project, environment, computer, creation time, session ID, and working folder.
- Projects can suggest a default folder: Sessions started from a project can now use that project's preferred folder, so you do not have to switch folders every time.
- Claude Fable 5 is available in the model selector: Use it for complex planning, code review, long document analysis, and other work that needs stronger reasoning.
- DeepSeek V4 Pro is cheaper to use: The pricing multiplier was refreshed so everyday tasks can use a lower-cost model more comfortably.
🔧 Experience
- File cards appear after the Agent finishes replying: The chat no longer jumps as much while a response is still streaming.
- Duplicate file cards are merged: Repeated files in the same reply no longer take up extra space.
- Internal file markers are hidden from the chat: Messages are easier to read when an Agent creates or sends files.
- Code blocks keep their formatting: Messages that include both code and file references are less likely to lose line breaks.
- Drive links are easier to share: The current folder or file can be reflected in the URL, so copied links open closer to the same view.
- Uploads go into the folder you are viewing: Files uploaded from Drive now land where you expect them.
- File previews refresh after a file changes: When an Agent updates a file with the same name, the preview is more likely to show the latest version.
.metafiles open as text: Configuration and metadata files are easier to inspect.- Audio files can play inline: MP3 file cards now include play, pause, and timeline controls.
- Office, PDF, and ZIP previews are more accurate: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, and ZIP files are less likely to open as unreadable raw text.
- File conversion stops looping: Some signed file preview links used to repeat conversion attempts; that has been fixed.
- Workbench panels resize more smoothly: The side panel, bottom panel, and file tree are easier to drag, resize, and collapse.
- Long filenames are easier to read: Hover hints make long names easier to inspect.
- Opening a file tab flickers less: The terminal no longer flashes first in common file-opening flows.
- Settings are in one place: Agent, Space, and Account settings can switch inside a single dialog.
- The prompt box is simpler: The unused Mode selector is hidden, leaving the more useful Project and folder controls.
💳 Billing And Checkout
- PayPal, WeChat Pay, and Alipay are now available: Alongside existing options, you can now complete purchases with PayPal, WeChat QR-code payment, or Alipay.
- Checkout copy is more complete across languages: Payment instructions are more consistent for international users.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Older sessions open more reliably: Clicking an older session from the sidebar should load it even when it is not in the current visible list.
- Session lists show fewer duplicates: Duplicate rows in Sessions and Projects were cleaned up.
- Keyboard shortcuts follow visible sessions:
Cmd/Ctrl+1-5now tracks the first five visible sessions instead of stale hidden sessions. - Public share pages no longer crash on file cards: Shared session and shared agent pages now render file attachments safely for anonymous read-only viewers.
- WeCom quoted images can reach the Agent: Quoted images and mixed media messages are forwarded with better context.
- WeCom quote details stay out of the chat bubble: Internal quote metadata no longer leaks into visible messages.
- Forgot-password links are more reliable: Reset links no longer generate invalid redirect URLs.
- Missing Space pages show a clear not-found state: Unmatched Space routes no longer load forever.
- Local Browser refresh follows the address bar: Refreshing uses the current URL more predictably.
- Drive folders stop getting stuck on loading: A folder loading race was fixed.
- The file tree refreshes stale cache more safely: Old cached Drive entries are less likely to break the file tree.
