Buda v1.26.0 Release Notes

Archive Agents without losing their work, understand storage at a glance, and organize sessions consistently across layouts.

Released: September 3, 2026

✨ New Features

  • Agent archiving: Pause an Agent while keeping its Drive, sessions, skills, and channels intact. Archived Agents move to a dedicated Space Settings page and can be restored when you need them again.
  • Agent storage visualization: Agent Settings now shows both used storage and total capacity, so you can understand disk pressure before it interrupts a task.
  • Buda supports Apple sign-in: Use Apple on the web or through Buda Mobile, and explicitly link Apple from Account Settings when adding it to an existing account.

🔧 Experience Improvements

  • Session management improvements across layouts: Company Space sessions now use the same Rename, Move to project, Remove from project, and Archive actions as Single Agent Layout, without a misleading delete shortcut.
  • Mobile Settings improvements: Mobile Settings keeps Account, Space, and Agent categories intact, then opens the selected page with a clear Back action instead of flattening every option into one row.
  • Improved low-storage guidance: Raw disk errors are replaced with localized guidance to clean up files or upgrade, and the recovery action stays visible even when the Agent produced a partial response.
  • Improved channel connection guidance: Connect and Start scan remain clickable, then show precise inline errors for a missing target Agent, token, or other required field.
  • Image controls match the selected model: Generation and editing options now expose only the aspect ratios and quality controls verified to work for the chosen image model and operation.

🛡️ Security

  • OAuth users can add a password safely: Accounts created with Google, GitHub, or another social provider can now set a password directly in Security Settings, with stale credential records cleaned up to prevent sign-in failures.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Chat recovers immediately after a credit top-up: The next accepted message appears without a refresh while live Agent output and earlier failed attempts remain in the correct order.
  • Single Agent Settings opens in the right place: The sidebar Settings action now consistently opens Agent Settings instead of inheriting the last Space Settings section you visited.
  • Uploads show their progress: Chat attachment uploads now report progress while a file is being transferred, making longer uploads easier to follow.
